Easter in the Badlands

This past weekend I went to Drumheller to stay at my Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa's house for the very first time. I know, that is sad. I am almost 2 and have never stayed at their house. Grandma and Grandpa Jarina picked me up Thursday and we all drove to Drumheller. Mommy and Daddy arrived Friday, along with Uncle Darryl, Auntie Michelle, Auntie Jenny and Jason.

I had a fun weekend. I went to the Royal Tyrell Museum and loved seeing all of the big dinosaurs. I had a big turkey dinner on Friday night and on Saturday, I got to go on an Easter egg hunt outside. There were so many easter eggs to be found! I collected them all up in my bucket and stopped to eat a few treats (smarties!) that were hidden inside. I spent a lot of time outside playing, riding my bike and at the park. It was good to see everyone again.

Mommy and Daddy had a good weekend too. They bought a new house! They are very excited, and so am I as I will have so much more room for my toys and a nice yard to play in. I can't wait to move in!

I hope you all had a good Easter!

The Happiest Place on Earth

So in February we headed to sunny California to spend a week with family and have some fun...only, it wasn't that sunny. But, even though we had cool rainy weather, we still managed to have a great time!

We stayed in Camarillo, CA with Uncle David and Auntie Jenn. It was a busy week for us, if only we had more time!

I really enjoyed my airplane ride this time. I love looking at airplanes in the sky so it was really neat to see them close up at the airport.

While in Disneyland we got to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Kirby, who spent a couple of days with us on their way home from Hawaii. They even babysat me while Mommy and Daddy went to a hockey game with Uncle David and Auntie Jenn.

Of course we went to Disneyland while we were there. I had a lot more fun this year as I was able to enjoy the rides and enjoy the sights. My favorite ride was the new Nemo underwater submarine ride. It was so cool!

After a long, fun filled day at Disneyland, we hopped into the car and drove to San Diego, and got there a little bit later then expected thanks to the crazy world of freeway driving! We made it safe and sound just after midnight though and got an early start to Sea World the next day. After getting over the disappointment of not seeing one single hippo at Sea World (my fave animal at the moment), I enjoyed seeing all kinds of other animals; killer whales, dolphins, sharks, sting ray's, seals, walruses. I also got to see a beautiful pelican swimming happily in the water of the whales aquarium...before it was snatched up by the whales and shredded into pieces right before our eyes! Mommy and Daddy were quite disturbed. Good thing I was too young to know what was going on. I would definitely love to visit Sea World again one day.

We had a great trip and enjoyed visiting family. We hope to go back there again someday soon.

Thanks for looking!
